make) is "something made or given shape by man, such as a tool or a work of art, esp an
object of archaeological interest". Collins English Dictionary -11th Edition
Archaeology is the study of human activity in the past, primarily through the recovery
and analysis of the material culture and environmental data that they have left behind,
which includes artifacts. Wikipedia-October 2012

This work utilizes recovered images of works from previous shows and a soundscape
made from interviews of artists and staff associated with Gachet over many years.
To reference the archaeological nature of the show both the visual and auditory are
presented in a layered, partially obscured manner. The monitor dripping paint chips also
alludes to changing technology and decay.
