A friend asked me to make a scuplture with the wine corks he had collected over the years.
I imagined the many pleasurable occasions the corks must have been associated with.
Being interested in roots I recreated a grape vine stock. I illuminated it so that it glows warmly in the dark symbolizing the energy of life.
